Mo’s 2026 800W Sunlike ProTerp Series 3.0+ PPE Standard + Dual Red + Independently Controllable 730nm Far Red
This configuration builds on the Dual Red Sunlike spectrum by retaining the same multi-peak foundation and red-balancing strategy, while adding a dedicated 730nm far-red channel on its own independent on/off switch. The dual-red architecture fills the natural dip between 600–640nm with controlled 640nm output alongside the dominant 660nm peak, smoothing the red region of the spectrum and delivering a modest increase in overall PPE (3.085) and ePPE (3.25) compared to the standard sunlike configuration without pushing total red output into exaggerated, red-heavy territory. When 730nm is turned off you can expect the same industry leading and Record Breaking efficiency of our 800w + Dual Red fixture 3.25PPE and 3.27ePPE
The independently switchable 730nm channel allows growers to selectively introduce far-red when and where it is beneficial. When enabled, far-red content is brought up to 2.5-5% of total output depending on user settings, to engage phytochrome-mediated responses without overwhelming the primary spectrum. In vegetative growth, controlled far-red can be used strategically to encourage canopy expansion and internodal extension in cultivars that tend to remain overly compact under high-blue, sunlike spectra. In flower, far-red can be applied after the stretch phase to help drive more uniform floral development and accelerate the transition into senescence during late-cycle finishing.
This configuration is intended for growers who want the added flexibility to manipulate plant morphology and flowering dynamics without compromising the core sunlike spectral balance. This configuration builds on our Standard Sunlike spectrum by slightly reducing mid-band output and strategically increasing red output to approximately 38%, while maintaining the same multi-peak sunlike architecture. By introducing a controlled 620–640nm red component alongside the dominant 660nm peak, this spectrum fills the natural dip that occurs between 600–640nm in many sunlike profiles, resulting in a smoother, more continuous spectral distribution through the orange-red transition zone.
The Dual Red configuration is engineered to increase overall photon efficiency up while preserving proper spectral balance, delivering higher PPE (3.25) and ePPE (3.27) than the standard sunlike configuration without pushing the spectrum into red-heavy territory. Total red output is kept below 40% to avoid the morphological and quality tradeoffs commonly seen in exaggerated red-dominant fixtures. This results in a measurable efficiency bump (with ePPE reachong upwards of 3.2 in this configuration) while maintaining the plant structure, terpene expression, and secondary metabolite development associated with true sunlike spectral profiles.
In practical terms, this configuration is designed for growers who want a modest performance and yield bias without sacrificing spectrum quality. This 800W Sunlike ProTerp configuration is built around a true multi-peak sunlike spectral architecture designed to closely mirror natural sunlight and high-quality CMH-style profiles, while delivering modern LED efficiency. The spectrum is anchored by dual blue peaks at 437nm and 450nm, a balanced cyan and green mid-band, and a controlled 660nm red peak to maintain proper plant morphology, terpene expression, and overall crop quality across full-cycle cultivation.
This configuration delivers 3.065 PPE (400–700nm) and 3.11 ePPE (380–800nm) with a measured output of 2463 µmol/s (400–700nm) and 2497 µmol/s (380–800nm). The spectral distribution is approximately 25% blue, 38% green, 35% red, and 1.3% far red, with a high color rendering index (CRI 92.7%) that reflects the quality and continuity of the spectrum, closely resembling natural daylight rather than the narrowband output of typical horticulture LEDs.

Why we describe our 660 nm reds as “640 nm-dominant”
When we describe our 660 nm red diodes as “640 nm-dominant,” we’re referring to how real horticultural LEDs are specified at the component level, not introducing a marketing term. As seen on the datasheet for OSRAM GH CSBRM4.24 (Osram 424), diodes marketed as “660 nm” can have a dominant wavelength closer to 640 nm, with a broader emission curve that spans much of the red region.
This is normal diode behavior and illustrates why spectrum labels alone can be misleading. We include this level of detail as part of our ongoing effort to promote transparency and consumer education, helping growers understand what photons are actually being delivered rather than relying on marketing hype.
