The Mo’s 600W LED Grow Light isn’t just another Commercial Grade LED Light. It’s a powerhouse designed to deliver superior performance in any grow space. Whether you’re working in a 4’x4′ or 5’x5′ grow tent, or in larger open room setups, this light performs.
Built with Samsung 301H Evo LED Diodes and Osram 660 LED Diodes, this Full Spectrum LED grow light provides the complete spectrum your plants need to thrive. It supports growth from seedling all the way through to harvest.
Engineered for Maximum Coverage and Yield
The Mo’s 600W Evo delivers over 1800 µmol/s of Total PPF with an impressive 3.0 µmol/J efficacy, making it ideal for 4’x4’ grow tents for both veg and flowering, with or without CO2 delivering up to 1400ppfd wall to wall.
In 5’x5’ setups without CO2, this light ensures even distribution across the entire canopy, delivering up to 1200 PPFD at optimal distances wall to wall.
Perfect for multi-light open room setups, each 600W fixture effectively covers up to 25 square feet at ambient co2 levels, eliminating hotspots and shadows while maximizing yield and plant health delivering 900-1100PPFD at 20-36″ from canopy.
Engineered for precision and power, this professional grow light offers consistent results throughout the grow cycle, without overwhelming your space.
Top-Tier Components for Superior Performance
Equipped with 2160 Samsung 301H Evo LED Diodes and 72 Osram Red 660nm Diodes, Mo’s 600W Evo prioritizes quality and density. These premium diodes are the best Samsung offers. They ensure your plants receive the optimal light spectrum at every stage of growth. Even at a lower wattage, you get the same top-quality components and diode densities found in our flagship 1000w model.
The advantage of the 437 nm peak over the traditional 450 nm lies in its ability to better match the absorption spectrum of Chlorophyll A. Chlorophyll A, the primary pigment responsible for photosynthesis, has a strong absorption peak around 430 nm in the blue spectrum.
Aligning the diode peak closer to this range, the 301H EVO diodes facilitate more efficient energy absorption. Your plants receive the light they need where it matters most, promoting vigorous vegetative growth and robust flowering.
The 301H EVO diodes effectively utilize every photon, maximizing photosynthetic efficiency, which leads to healthier plants and better yields. This delivers consistent and reliable performance throughout your entire grow, helping you achieve the best possible results.
Why Not Being Red-Heavy Matters
The Importance of Balanced Spectrum Distribution
Spectrum distribution is key in avoiding the pitfalls of being overly red-heavy. Red-heavy spectrums, especially those saturated with 660nm and far-red (730nm), can lead to imbalances in plant growth. While 660nm is vital for flowering, its overuse can result in light bleaching at higher PPFD levels.
Research on Far-Red Light and Plant Growth
The balanced spectrum provided by the 301H EVO diodes is crucial in avoiding these issues. This includes imbalances like light bleaching or reduced yields that can be prevented with a balanced spectrum. Research has shown that excessive far-red light (730nm) can trigger a shade avoidance response in plants. This leads to undesirable growth characteristics, such as increased stem elongation and reduced flower density.
Case Study: Impact of Far-Red Light
In a 2022 study conducted by Thomas Benjamin Carter at the University of Tennessee, plants exposed to higher levels of far-red light experienced significant decreases in yield and increases in height. As plants became more slender, they required additional support. These effects are counterproductive to achieving high-quality, high-yield harvests. Carter’s study highlighted that as far-red light intensity increased, the yield of dry flower significantly decreased, while plant height significantly increased.
Consequences of Excessive Far-Red Light
This compelled growers to use additional support structures due to weakened plant structures. Additionally, Carter’s research noted increased senescence (aging and yellowing) of leaves under higher far-red light conditions. This further reduced overall photosynthetic potential, contributing to lower yields. This underscores the importance of a balanced light spectrum. Optimizing growth without inducing negative stress responses is crucial.
The Benefits of 301H EVO Diodes
By using the 301H EVO diodes, Mo’s 1000W Evo lights provide a balanced, full-spectrum light that supports all stages of plant growth without the risks associated with far-red overexposure. Even at 2000 µmol to the canopy, these lights ensure far-red light remains below 20 µmol.
This significantly reduces the risk of triggering the shade avoidance response. It also prevents other negative effects documented in the study, such as reduced yields by up to 30% at 60 µmol far-red.
Proven, Reliable, and Backed by Science and Field Testing
All performance metrics of our lights are independently tested and verified to ensure accuracy. We avoid relying on empty tent mapping, inflated numbers, or marketing gimmicks. Our lights consistently deliver real, reliable results, whether in a tent or an open room, and they are built to stand the test of time.
Keep in mind, our mapping is done in open rooms. In a tent, you will see a 25-40% increase in light reaching the plants. The majority of it will be around the perimeter. This will bring the edges much higher and closer to the center than reported on our open room PPFD map.
This effect is similar to what you see in multi-light setups with proper spacing. Where light overlap from fixture to fixture enhances intensity and coverage. Instead of relying solely on light overlap, the reflective mylar walls of the tent help distribute the light evenly across your grow space. Maximizing efficiency and yield in smaller enclosed spaces.
When you choose Mo’s, you’re investing in a product that’s been rigorously tested in real-world conditions, ensuring you get the best performance possible.
